This year's sandbar is just bananas. check out the surfline cams and see the 'inside sandbar at pipe' the sand moves all the time, the sandbar comes back every year as the sand moves from keiki's to rockies as the result of west swells. So, who was it that said there was no sandbar at pipe? Granted, pipe proper breaks on the ledge, but there is an inside sandbar that functions when its small. check the cam
