There's been some swell this week consistently and looks to be through the weekend and all through next week thanks to air temps that are resembling a heart rate monitor. Who's charging what and where? Let's hear some stoke and score reports. Hopefully dis tread can be an impetus for more cats to get off the arse and brave the cold as the winter weather pushes ahead. Weds/Thurs looking sic but depending on the protected spots you're at before then you could likely be getting billeted in some shacks too. FLY A BANNER FOR SOLID WINTER SWELL AND STOKE ON THE EC
Bought an all wheel drive van this year, amped for all the Maine trips it will assist me in before the plows do their thing! Probably gonna grom out all week on a performance longboard that I considered using as my one board quiver for an upcoming trip. Hoping this storm tracks out to sea more...what about you?
I moved my days off to prior to this swell so it will be a chase around the RI coast for me. I too bought an awd vehicle, 04 outback for trips up north. The van is for sale if anyone is interested I got so many good waves on thanksgiving, I have been jonesing to get back at it
I'll be pulling into Goochs/Kennebunk around noon. It looks perfect now. PM for a phone number if you wanna charge Maine. SI says NH is clean but the cam says otherwise. That could change in the drive down, which starts as soon as I wipe my arsh and get in gear.
Just surfed for like 2-3 hours with just me and a bud. Forecast wasn't looking to great. Was about chest high, very light onshores, tide was making things a little fat but it got better as the tide dropped. A bit shifty/peaky. Wasn't perfect but was a whole hell of allot of fun. Was fairly warm today too. Can't complain at all. Looks like waves in the chest/HH/OH range till Thursday so I'm pumped!
