(Not so) Optimal Fin Placement

    Right on the achilles. Walking is a struggle. I hope you never do this to yourself.

    Damn man, that's a mega bummer. Hope it heals quick and you can get back in the water soon. Just curious, how sharp are your fins? Maybe sand that razor edge off 'em?

    Done it...seems like it take forever to heal! Agree with the medical advice...just wait till you go in the water again and put pressure on it in a turn...nursed mine for about a month. Hang in there...

    had one exactly like that, except it punctured my right arch (instep). At SoMission Jetty, no less.

    I have a bad habit of hitting the insides of my feet on my fins. Keep it clean and take it easy. Mine healed slowly. I surfed anyways, not recomended.
