idk where u were at in the mid atlantic, but im in central nj and I work near the beach so I saw it around 6am on my way to work and at 430pm leavin work.it looked pretty good in the am,it was like an hr after that storm passed,if anyone was awake around 3 am,then im sure u heard and felt it,id say it was 4-5ft in the am,in the pm it was around 3-5ft clean and looking real fun.i was at the beach probably at the swells peak since the storm just moved offshore and it was good, not epic but definitely worth a good surf.and by the looks of it the swell stuck around all day and it was a damn fine day outside.doomsday was 5-7ft,but im sure some would argue 10-12 ft which is an exaggeration in my eyes, but doomsday was the peak ideal winter storm set up and I base all future storms off of doomsday.but the result of doomsday perfection was sandys work on the sand, and that's gone.it sucks being so close to the beach and not surfing, but I work long hrs of hard labor and by the time I get out im ready to vedge out on the couch and burn one.maybe im lazy,i call it getting old.i pass like 30 different surfspots on the way to work which is always cool.im just dreading this summer traffic this year since I work off the shore

I only go to the Pic-A-Lilli in Tabernacle or Shamong or whatever town it is in......you know out in the forest off 206.

And anyways, it's got to be the boardwalk, unless you can get the PIC'S management to allow it. But we'll lose the chance to reach the public(a vast diverse public). I say the boardwalk. Be better if you could make in September when we have The Miss America traffic. You may impress a girl like Miss Tennessee with your views aboot U.S. Americans......

So I have a year to read Ann Coulter books to prepare, huh?

So when the police(AC cops are just terrible people) ax us to break it up, are you going to go all anarchy on them? We might end up finishing our debate in D-Pod in Mays Landing. D-Left sucks and so does D-Right.

Sorry, 34th St politics is a nasty business. By the way, I am really digging Mayor Ford of Toronto....I mean really. He has easily replaced Marion Barry as my favorite politician.

After the debate we'll go night surfing at some crappy AC location....illuminated by the bright lights of the casinos and big dreams.

Ford/Barry in 2016! Woohoo!! I could get behind that. Then maybe NOTHING would get done. I've yet to see what anyone in washington has done recently to help the average citizen. DC is the problem not the solution. Lock em all up at gitmo and let us actually move this country forward.

PJB for chief of staff. Leave him in DC to sort out the shenanigans. He knows enough about most everything to wade through the BS and keep things running smoothly without much input. And, he'll have a car and driver to schlep him over to Ocean City for some 2-3 footers. :)

A little late to the party... but really good video Ryan. Really enjoyed it... Def was a super fun surf. Went out from 3:30-5:15. Perfect chest-head high peelers. Can't beat it.

    Thank you!

And thank you Swellinfo for the green forecast this past Monday evening:

    substitute "greed" for "green" below:cool::

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8y6DJAeolo

Save yourselves; Pursue a "Green" lifestyle and you'll be "happier" in life. Chase "Green," for lack of a better word, and you'll, be "Good." Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas have nothing to do with it.

    My 2 cents.

    Ryan

    PS

Chase anything of color (wind affect on surf), and you'll be happier,

    My 5 cents.

    Ryan

This is a long shot, but does anyone know who was shooting water shots in Long Branch on this swell? I think he got a few good shots and I'd like to check 'em out if they're on the web somewhere.
