I'm not sure about the whole "Russian Threat" thing. I know that people believe that a leader can only be effective if a perceived enemy exists. I believe that Radical Islamists are a real threat, because they flat out tell us that we are the enemy.

I think Russia and the USA play both sides against the middle, just like the Democrats and Republicans do.
