Nub TV Blowing Up Rhode Island???

It's really not worth the trip. Wind always fn sucks up here anyway.

 

I mean, the surf looks fun, but the goofballs in the video I could live without seeing ever again.

Thats what we call blown out chop in Rhody. Pretty impressed the boys made the trip from Jersey to surf some Winter slop. Do not think any here makes the trip to Jersey? okay, maybe in the Summer.

Yes we have plenty of rocks with that break, and I can tell they missed a couple of potential spots.

In general you can always surf that last spot with a light to no crowd since it is about a 100+ yard paddle to the horseshoe reef and slab upcrop and when it is overhead can be a real washing machine.

Not big enough for Monahan's, but figured you should see what the potential.

i got washed high and dry over the rocks at monohans one time. Had to make that right....didn't make that right.

it did look like a complete waste of a trip.i wouldn't go as far to saying they were blowing up spots,regular surfers go on surf trips all the time and post a helluva lot more.lol nj surf videos,i can see a house in the background and know exactly where they are at.fences,certain jetties,seawalls,nothing is secret in nj.just because its not crowded doesn't mean its a secret.im sure u guys have plenty of epic spots where u have to hike down cliffs and walk through the woods,wish nj had some of that.i experienced similar spots in eastern li.that makes the surfing so much more fun when its a mission to get there.all u have to do in jersey is park and walk 40 seconds and ur at the water.not much excitement there

 

Yeah I have allot of sh it to talk about that nub tv video. God those kids seem awful homo. Terrible music. Terrible personalities. Shred raw broh! The waves sucked this past weekend in Ri anyways. Matunuck was blown , gansett off shores were too much , and swell was relievely small. However I did get some dumpy ones at first light at the point.

The jersey dudes in that video were surfin small waves to a terrible tune. Need not say more.

 

That was a waste of 10 minutes.

 

they shoulda got some footage of the fatty in the USA wet suit to drop in over the Barge reef. woulda been way epic

 

haters haters everywhere..don't be jealous bc these guys surf better then you, and those spots aren't secret.

 

Pretty sad that people hatin on these guys. The reason they're worth filming is that they are willing to throw themselves over ledges and do things most people will not. Like surf those oh so sacred spots, that seriously if your so fond of protecting you should have been out there that day to yell at them.

 

Worth filming? 10 minute video with one minute of screwing around in blown out chest high wind swell.

his homeboys got some snappy backside turns too. Honestly every spot in newengland is very blown up (except the few that arent) due to population density and lack of waves. if your out there in the cold, and your squeezing into that frigid rubber, and your not blowing sections or dropping in, or being annoying as **** in the line up more power to ya.

Thats why I always liked newengland, it seemed that in comparison to other warmer water spots there was less competition and more "were all in this ****ty cold environment together" vibes in the lineup.

 

Wourd trev, on all of that. I gotta say I do like the cold water comradirie. Couple weeks back, me and my boy rolled up to this cove as two guys we're getting out...we exchanged good vibes, they were just as pumped as we were that we had it all to ourselves.

 

Seldom WHAT THE **** MAN when are we gonna meet in new haven for a show, because clearly there will never be good waves.
