Storm system pushes on shore around mid-week. This will bring in some moderate sized wind swell that looks to peak on Wednesday, but with poor choppy/stormy conditions. I wanted to point out that the SoCal swell model output and wave maps wont currently show the nearshore short period wind swell that will pick up with strong onshore winds in the small SoCal region. This atypical scenario hasn't been built into the model yet, but we are working on a solution. The forecasts, however, will reflect all swells.
Most spots are looking pretty clean for Thursday morning, before onshores return for the afternoon. Get it while you can, because its looking real small for Friday and into the weekend.
