Im sure this is primarily directed at beach goers, sunbathers and families... but that being said... who knows if they will be policing the beaches...
They closed the RI beaches down too and no surfers are allowed to go in and the waves are PERFECT, i'm piissed!!!
ended up calling the rockaway precinct and they said they didn't recommend surfing but they weren't going to stop anyone. surf ended up being pretty fun early but got a little messed up when the tide started backing out.
