    Yeah, and I know he'll hate this so i"m gonna say it. He's the Kelly Slater of the SI community. Not in the G.O.A.T. sense, but in the countless half/sorta retirements sense.

    Not quite. I'm 58 and I believe SI Dogg is around there as well. And Dosxx has a few years on all of us from what I understand.

    My theory, and I'm old, so I have the wisdom, is he has just been called up to serve in the U.S. Supreme Court, and has a lot of splaining to do.

    Damn, I feel like a kid, 37 years old here. When I got out of the water today, some lady who was about to paddle out told me that us "young guys" make it look easy out there surfing the chest high shore pounders, she said that we are young enough that we can bounce off the bottom no problem but she's too old and will break if she did that lol
