Da buh has some mischief forecasted. September 2017 is one for the books. More swell in October is a given. Here is Mr. Buh's take: http://dabuh.com/2017/09/25/latest-look-at-the-tropics-9-25-2017/
love the pop-storms. kinda depressing now when you look at the map of the Atlantic and there's no X's on the horizon...but it's so cool when one just appears off the SE coast overnight. thnx for keeping me pumped.
So just to let ya'll know, Da Buh is a bit ober hyped. He has OBX under water from Maria soon, and the Caribbean blowing up a storm from the E Pacific, connecting with the Gulf, and going across FL any day now. I like his accent, it sounds like he knows what the **** he is talking aboot. LMFAO
DaBuh aside, October is typically one of the best months of the year for SENC (in my 10 years of living here). I know there was a year or two where we had something to surf everyday of the month, and it's just chilly enough to keep the "surf season" folks out of the lineup. There was a streak of like 7 years where we had fun surf on Halloween. Looking forward to it!
i'd be very surprised if October came close to September's swell this year, but in the last 10 yrs down in SC OCtober was the month. should be getting a cold front this wknd to start things off
We always get a big swell end of October with a couple pulses here and there during the month. I'm psyched. And sore. Surfed all morning. September this year is awsome!
VAS for next weekend and a great kickoff to October. "When the weather is hot and sticky, Ain't no time for dunking d ickey. When the frost is on the pumpkin, Now it's time for d ickey dunkin'!" A little ditty told to me by my wife from Boston, way before she was my wife.
