And it sounds like the costs verses the benefits is not an issue. Every late spring they have groups that reinstall all the broke down fencing which surround the dunes. They could simply add a few head to those groups who could start the small test site at first and then if it proved successful,.. it could add a nice handful of extra jobs to the local economy every spring/summer, due to the need to plant and maintain the test site/s and any others that may spring up as the program become more well known and successful.

I really believe that it would be a win, win, win,...for the dunes, the City and the property owners. It would be good for the surfers also. It certainly would add to the Towns idea that OC is A family resort,...cough, cough. I like that the people who come here and spend their money would view it as a positive and as been said already, add to the positive image of the City as a whole.
