When over half of our "representatives" are bought by rich oilmen, you have to expect such schitt. Hopefully O will veto. Remember at the end of last century when gas was under a buck?
then this guy stole the election and the rest is history.

Butches sugar daddy just died. He was the one who lowered our gas prices. Funny how he suddenly croaked. His half bro just took over and the news announced prices will go up.

THEY were saying we were heading for a depression due to affordable fuel. Thank Allah they prevented that.

They (the senators and the guvner from NC) are bought and paid for already and don't give a rats a$$ what anyone thinks who's name doesn't end in Pope or Koch.

Call my Senator?? Why?? But if I do, I would tell them to invest in the drilling company that is doing the drilling. I have made lots money with them. The oil drillers are all down now. Great time to buy!!! If you have any smarts, you will cease those moronic anti-everything commie posts, and get rich!!

I'm sure that our elected representatives don't need investment advice from you. They'll have insider info from their industry benefactors to trade on.

Thanks for straightening me out Barry. Another thing SI has taught me lately, in addition to the fact that I don't surf I am a communist because I don't want oil wells dropped off my coast and don't like the fact that both the parties in this country are completely bought and paid for to the point where the average joe has no say so in anything that goes on.

Yes, I should just get what I can by any means necessary. To hell with everyone else, to hell with the planet, and to hell with government for the people, by the people, of the people. Its so un-American to think otherwise.

Just another non-surfing commie chiming in here.

Welcome to the Dark Side!!! Make your Faustian deal now!! Hurry!! Only two left!! Call now and you get the free Gingo knife!! Cuts the Roast Beef so thin your in-laws will never come back!!!

Failing that, keep flipping them burgers. Be sure, no amount of letters to Senators will ever dissuade them from supporting oil companies, in the long run, as long as you and I and all the other imbeciles on this forum drive these things called "cars", surf on boards made with oil, leashes made with oil, wetsuits, underwear, makeup, condoms, lubricants, computers, (you are on one now, aren't you?) , etc, etc, etc. Like it or not, it is your life; mine as well. I decided years ago, buy their stock and make money with them. It worked. Im retired now for several years. You decide-it is your destiny, not mine.

A practical man eh? The whole world going to hell so just grab what you can while you can?

I didn't realize that was the American way. Guess I was corrupted by my commie parents and relatives. Especially the veterans, they were the worst, trying to brainwash me with all their BS values.

Your "Hello" thread said you just recently retired. Now you're retired several years?
And a customer just gave you one of the most expensive bottles of scotch on Earth?

    K bro

The world is going to hell?? Really?? Hardly!! Where did you get that idea?? It is not.
But the American way, if there is one, is capitalism, and that includes investing, as well as honest work. I did both; I regret neither.
But as I said, you control your own destiny. You are free to choose. So am I.

I invest, I work hard, and honestly. Does that make me an American now? I thought I was a commie.
