Just my old Buck lock blade from 1973. I have it with me when I'm walking Wally at night :D
(Exact same model as the one LBCrew posted a pic of.)
    Prolly needs a professional sharpening.

I used to own a very dull version of that knife! Rusted and whatnot. A German aupair (nanny) I was dating had a meltdown at my apartment and tried to stab me with it. She is a doctor now.

    Sheldon remember that crazy broad?

My coolest blade is a medieval rusted out thing I bought at an antique fair in London. In 1000 years it had to have stabbed somebody.

Also, those buck knives are great! You can brand your initials in them, which is pretty badarsh.

These days I go with the ol' razor blade in my bum trick. Sheet that thing out and lets tango.

I believe that's from the Korean War. The WWII Kabars had brown handles. My dad's Ka Bar looks exactly like that one and he served in the Marine Corps in Korea.

That knife set the bar for all folding knives that came after. Total game changer...

Wow, you guys are all violent statists or something.

    And everyone thinks I'm dangerous?

I have a pocket knife that I use for resin scraping issues. I don't think any of y'all would be impressed with it.

I hate resin, but I guess it's better than nothing.

    Anybody have any grenades?

    Agreed Riley haha
Never really would advise using a knife for self defense except in an emergency situation.
    But they are great tools.
Thinking about picking up a kershaw knockout and nextorch k3 penlight soon.
you guys edc anything else? penlights, multitools etc...?

Got a switchblade I've carried for years as a backup...don't care to talk about how I got it. Prefer to use my Sig or Glock instead.

The "Riddle of Steel"? Don't bring a knife to a gunfight.

    My best knives:
    Shun 8" Classic Chef's
    [IMG]

    Shun 6" Boning/Fillet
    [IMG]

    Wusthof 8" Classic Chef's
    [IMG]

    Lamson 8" Silver Chef's
    [IMG]

A cook should never be without a good sharp knife. The Shuns are probably the sharpest thing I use, but the blades are fairly thin. Japanese steel still seems to stay sharp the longest. The Lamson is my favorite when working with thick foods. I don't really have a pocket knife, but I really want a leatherman.

    My Dad's M1 bayonet.
Imagine what would happen nowadays taking that to school for show and tell when having a fingernail file can get one expelled.
When I was in school, it was common for a young guy to carry a pocketknife. I usually had my Boy Scout pocket knife with me.
I do like the folding, lock blade Buck knives. Got an old one my brother-in-law gave me.

Very nice. That is same Chef's and pairing knives that I have. I do like how the German steel feels, but I feel like I sharpen them more. I ended up buying a set of all SS Wusthof steak knives, and have been really happy with them. They are bullet proof. Make sure you always hand wash, as it preserves the handle and the blades stay sharper longer.

I've got an Old Timer single locking blade knife that my brother got for me for my 12th birthday... 40 years ago... I've lost it and found it a dozen times. Gutted my first deer with it... skinned racoons with it... it sits in my gun cabinet with all my other weaponry... Rifles, shotguns, black powder, compound bows, recurve, long, and... two blow guns.
