The waves have been absolute shite lately (crossing my fingers for tomorrow) but the spring colors have been kicking hard. A few from the last couple of weeks....
"They'll never be able to link it to us", as the 2 inbred morons carefully left their tracks in the snow. "How would they know it was us?" they questioned , carefully leaving their ballistic evidence in the bodies of their victims.
Felt physically ill when I read that article. This planet must be some sort of alien zoo experiment. The aliens aren't coming back until the supposedly intelligent species elevates the planet to the level of its potential. Which will happen, precisely, never
Meh, I look at this way: When we are gone, in a mere geological time blink of the eye, plate tectonics will do its due diligence and bury even the largest of cities, melting them into the subduction zone, then spitting them out as lava at the next volcano nearby. Have a beer, man. Relax....life is good!! Especially in this USA of ours. I am happy- married a great lady (and believe you me--she is a beauty, imho), nice daughter and grandaugher, etc. Life is always nice at the Cuda Mansion. However, we could use some mo' betta surf around this wave forsaken of a coast.....
I have those moments too, Barry. And then I have other moments - - revulsion is a basic human emotion, just as valid & it's there for a reason, don't you think? Humans make such a huge deal out of morality, hell, entire cultural precepts & legal aspects are founded upon ethics, morality & other aspects that are supposedly unique to the human virus species. I get what you're saying: perspective. And I also get that it's ok to feel revulsion for / towards certain things. It's part & parcel of perspective.
As an avid hunter, I'll tell you one thing; I hate MFers like these two scumbags more than I hate PETA and other anti-hunter groups. At least PETA has their opinions and their convictions even if I disagree with them. Ahole, MFers, cocque sucking Dbags is what these two ass clowns are. I can think of many ways I'd like to torture them. Tied down with sugar all over them and then set the fire ants on them comes to mind.
Damn right CyC! I bet I have hunted with or around over 100 different men (and women) since I was a kid. I have never once witnessed anything like these idiots. You never shoot a bear with cubs to begin with. I can’t count how many does I have passed on (to provide meat to the freezer) b/c there was a yearling tagging along. It just doesn’t make sense. But, this is more egregious...pathetic. It is actually the antithesis of how I was brought up.
Yeah man, I've never hunted bears. There are plenty of them in PA and NJ but they seem so majestic and rare. I've had some crazy encounters with them in the past. But I never thought once to shoot one. I had to fire in the air once when a big male false charged me. That incident damn near turned my fruit of the looms a dark shade of brown. I hunt strictly for meat.
Exactly. I should clarify, I have never shot a bear and was speaking from an ethical standpoint on killing one with cubs present. I have had a number of encounters too...cool but not lol! I hunt in NC and VA. The NC Ag lands are covered with them. I strictly hunt deer and occasionally a turkey. All about filling the freezer. I process all of it my self. A friend shot a bear last year and they gave me some meat (his family love eating bear meat. It’s not my favorite).
Let's get this thing back on thread. Been too lazy to post some of my pics from CR. So I'm doing it now.
This cold front came through yesterday evening. After taking these pics I proceeded to snag a couple of legit barrels. Really cool storm clouds though... First look this year at our secret spot swimming hole They've been pushing a ton of sand around to fix our dunes so many scores to be had
