Banana spiders. We used to see 'em all the time as kids in the woods in Fla. They build webs between trees! Caught one on my face while ridin a motocross bike through an opening in the trees. Covered my whole face. F-er was crawlin up my face as I'm dumpin the bike in the weeds. Awesome pics everyone!

Ya they are. But those are the small ones. That guys maybe an inch and a half. They have the most painful bite from what I hear tho. These are the bigger ones:
Fark dude! That's one great thing about the north, winter can suck, but we don't have those mothertruckers lurking around. Krak good stuff, love that moon pic. Challenge: any pics of big arachnids from the NE...namely wolf/wood/fishing spiders. Bill will send a box of cracker jacks
