I do not care for either party as well. There are no easy solutions other than simplifying government, making it smaller, and attend to your own matters. I frankly don't give a **** about governments, the smaller the better.
As for the Kochs, I don't care where they got their money, and who their dad was. They are essential to the survival of big government. For those of you that a want free health care, free food stamps, free retirement, and a paycheck without having to work, they are essential. I bet 99% of what is written about them is exaggerated political leftist crap--straw boogie men, nothing more. The right side of the aisle has their boogie men as well, i.e., Kennedys.

I don't have a problem with anyone being successful, if they do it ethically. My problem with the Koch bros and (anyone else like that-regardless of their political affiliation) is they have lied cheated and stolen their way to success.

Koch family built refineries for Russia. So that means they are supporting socialism right? Wonder if any of that refinery money bought bullets for the viet cong?

As for independent thinking, I don't get my info from cnn OR fox news. Of course since I don't agree with you then I'm just a sheep right?

I don't need to look up the Koch brothers. If your ilk repeatedly states bad things about them because Harry Reid guided you to, I know it is out of exaggeration. I am sure you never heard of Koch brothers until they showed up in the political discourse. If they did wrong things as you say, criminals, they would be in jail. But, they haven't. And that makes you, quite simply, 100% wrong.

White collar criminals hardly get caught. You have the CEOS of big wall street firms (Goldmans) who can **** up the entire economy and ruin peoples lives including giving out bonuses after receiving our tax dollars but they don't go to jail. I can't imagine how many people they defrauded. What about politicians (both repub and democ who bypass congress to go to war) who are war criminals. These types and the 1% never go to jail. Too much money and too many connections. White collar crimes should have more severe punishments, like crucifictions. As George Carlin said, let's bring back crucifictions and these white collar aholes wouldn't be committing crimes anymore. The would just stick to driving volvos and eating frozen yogurt.

While the poor kid who steals food to feed his family is serving 20. The justice system doesn't apply to everyone.

My personal favorite is when people of a certain persuasion speak badly of profit as if profit is evil. Profit is the only reason any business exists and its the only way they keep the lights on and the employees paid.

We all have to make a living . Profit in and of it self is not evil. Question is is does your busness require you to disregard the constitution and send young men to kill and be killed for your financial gain? Will you use the polititians you have bought to invade other sovereign nations and kill 100,000's of innocent people to install your puppet as the ruler? Then will you take your profit to further degrade your own country's economy and social fabric so you may profit more?

 

Face it the world if fuked, lets all have fun and enjoy the party till the end. And despite what we are taught one person rarely if ever makes a difference.

Not saying anything like that. Profit is needed for the economy to survive and for people to make money. I don't know any idiot that would think that profit is evil. I do know that people can't wrap their head around that government is bad. Some people just believe anything the govt tell them, think the police are always great and they believe their side (repub or democ even who both are full of ****). People are sheep and they want to believe everyone is good. The almighty dollar is held high by most even other people. We are at the point that people care more about an Ipad then playing with their kid. The funniest thing is that they think it's fine when people with money obtain their money unethically because they weren't convicted. Even though they defrauded, poisoned the drinking water and killed people to get it. "They weren't convicted". That doesn't mean **** with our justice system which is crap.

People with money rarely serve time especially the uber wealthy. We aren't talkiing envy. I would rather live near the beach then some mansion in Chicago. The system is just obviously flawed where poor people serve time for petty crimes yet others murder millions of innocent civilians and walk away. It's the American way but it's still bull****.

Both sides have a right to their opinion and free speech (which is slowly eroding, any dissidents who speak out against government can be labeled terrorists). I'm just saying the system doesn't reward good hard working ethical people. You have your opinion and I have mine. I have paid enough taxes in my years that I can say that. It's funny when people under 40 start talking. You don't know ****.
