Ska drummers, in general, play way more intricate beats and syncopations than drummers from any other genre... except maybe jazz. What's the connection to 1991? The Suicide Machines formed in Detroit in '91!
wow lol didn't expect this to turn into a drumoff.. def leppard great band, fine by me,i was referring to grohl..I wasn't expecting to see prince make the list lol.the guy from "the band" (real band btw) lol sang while playing the drums, idk never was a big fan of them either but the guy had talent
My first megaconcert was HFSestival '98 - went to a bunch of them for a few years. Anyone go to those festivals?? Scariest concert I've ever been to was Superbowl of Hardcore 2000 in DC - dude in the crowd got stabbed while Hatebreed was playing and I was nearly trampled by skinheads when Dropkick Murphys played. I think I was 15 years old.
Never been to that, but been to many an early Hatebreed show when they were coming up in CT...some of them were unbelievably violent...not just the pit either, saw several riots where crowd and bouncer brawls erupted.
Saw Dropkick with Agnostic Front, talk about random violence in and around the pit. This was before they went all pop and sh*t.
