censorship would be deleting posts that called out spots...asking "please do not name spots...thanks" is just nicely asking people not to do something that has caused problems on this, and every other surf forum, a million times.

I agree. I definitely would rather have just a few people out and don't thing anyone should drop spot names. The local thing does make me laugh though. Growing up in a beach town and surfing most of my life would define me as a local. Then, you have these people who grow up 20 minutes away who consider themselves locals because they surf that break. They don't pay taxes for beach maintenance, cleanup, etc. but they think that they own that break. What a joke

I usually surf one spot but change it up if it's really firing somewhere else. I love going to a different spot in my own town and getting the stink eye from some guy who doesn't even live in the town. Go back home to Howell, benny.

this weekend is going to be a zoo no matter what happens on this forum. just have to hope people know their limits, and if they decide to push them, know how to act in the lineup.

silly question - if the surf happens to clean up at all, i'm wondering if i should take out th 7'6" funfish or the 8'4"x24x3 1/4?

the funfish will be a harder paddle but i'm thinking the "longboard" will be harder to get thru the breakers and maybe too big for the big waves.

My bet is that its gonna be messy junk with a few windows of cleanup. My bet is that sometime late next week it will be clean and fun just a little smaller.

O know somebody might name a spot and happen to go there oh no. Isnt america a free country... East coast people have the worst attitudes. Ill be laughing at all you kooks getting tossed inside while i get pulled out by my ski. Thanks for ur stupid postings here... Expect for motion and mule

I want in on some of that jet-ski-tow-out action getswole! LOL!! If anyone wants to venture southeast (Muleskinner), the crystal coast may have offshore winds at the right time and I have a few favorite spots in mind. I can alwasy use some new surfer buds! We could share the drive and possible motel cost.

Could venture to the OBX if the winds look good. Can anyone hook a surfer up with an OBX place to stay for a reasonable fee?

In this case, I would say a "KOOK" is..... 1) the person asking for advice on where to surf when there is swell 2) the punk talking crap after a reasonable request by a moderator 3) the kid that can't spell 4) the person who needs a ski to enjoy some long tasty nuggets. Get Swole Son!!!

Ha... Ya... I once posted detailed info on how to access fishermans island without a boat... As a result I straight up received some death threats.

Anyways fishermans wont be tooo great this swell, needs more south in the swell to really get it going...
