Omar isn't going to produce anything towards the east coast, because of his northeastward path. Tropical storms produce most of their swell in the direction they are moving. In Omar's case, the majority of strong winds are on the eastern side of the storm and not pointing towards us.
models are calling for a low developing off the mid atlantic this weekend. Depending if and where this low develops, we could see some N/NE wind swell sneak into the east exposures along the southeast coast.
