The darkness of November is upon us. Surf sessions are down. The year is almost at a close. And yet...we look forward!

So, post 'em up! Where are you headed in 2014 for surf treks? Not the wish list; the definitely happening list.

(Keepin' it positive, amigos....even though Clemmy just snorted in his beer at that one...)

    My trips:
    CR (#6)
    PR (virgin trip)
    San Diego (#2, 3, 4)
    France (#2)
    Barbados (#3)
Assateague (#99... if the bars ever recover!)

One of my teammates & I were driving to a tourney in Waterloo, Kitchener a few years back. Ace wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he was an amazing center fielder. Scratch golfer, too. Anyways, we're driving past a country club outside Toronto. Big banner on the main building, visible from the highway, says 'watch the British Open here!' I say, Ace wow, lookathat, the British Open is here! Ace exclaims, no way! let's go back! See if we can get out on the course & meet some of the players!

It was about 4 miles later that it dawned on him.

    Enjoy Hawaii, KMonster.

Glad you got on it. Also would be good to hear that the closeouts aren't quite as heavy as last month.

Assateague once again looked pretty but in reality wasn't great. Seems like there's not enough sandbar outside to make it break, and it just hits the shallow part of that inside trough and breaks into soup. I could be wrong but that's how it looked, no one seemed to be catching much, not sure about state park though.
