If I had a board with a wide tail I would be all over these....

I have been stalking the fcs2 site waiting for more options. I love quads but they have a pretty limited selection for type of fin I like. Been riding PC-7 Quads and like how loose the trailers are but still sticks in steeper surf. I am also riding Rusty's in the leading fin which gives a bit more projection..... when I am able to get a goddamn surf in.

I have nothing... except yeah it really sucks doesn't it? Right when the conditions justify extra board size (cold big surf) trying to punch through to the outside on a bigger board is at its worst.

Thankfully some of the spots that hold that size have easier paddles. The ones that don't I generally avoid.

Just got this guy wet for the first time....6'4" egg. Three months has got to be the longest I've ever gone waiting to ride a new board, but I got it for walled up waves with some size, and this morning was shoulder high+ and clean. So stoked...first three waves were solid drops/bottom turn to cutback. Board felt great.
