I am going to need a new wetsuit for this fall. i want a good quality suit with as much flexibility as possible. i am adressing this question now because i can get the psycho 2 for sale. which suit is better? A Psycho 2 for $280 or a Matuse Hoplite 322 for $400? or any other suggestions

check out Xcel wetsuits. I got a pair of booties last fall and they are awsome

Not sure if your talking 3/2 or winter suit, but i bought a Matuse hoplite 3/2 about a year ago and it is the best 3/2 i've ever owned. Cost me $300 but it might have been a clearance sale. I know even $300 sounds ridic for a 3/2 but i'm so stoked on this suit. Warm, dry, way lighter than neoprene, and after 20+ sessions, no sign of any wear and tear.

I prefer the Psycho II to the hoplite. The hoplite leaves a terrible aftertaste and is a bit stringy and gets stuck in my teeth. The psycho II has hints of passion fruit and goes down much easier.

    I cast my vote for

a Psycho III (aka Freak). Very toasty and the 3.5 is quite flexible. Superior flushing resistance.
