I keep checking buoy data other sites swell models etc and i can't figure out IF or When the waves will be coming. I watched it from 98L and recently it has been putt putting so slow by the leewards. It concerns me cause i need a vacation badly and im planning on riding down and up the coast from florida to north carolina for 5 days and need to get an idea when to take off. Originally it was for me to leave wednesday but the forecast is looking horrible. WHEN DO YOU THINK THE SWELL WILL COME? OR WILL IT? *swellinfo guy please answer to*
OBX should start to feel up Ophelia tonight; north, tomorrow. Tomorrow morning should be good, no wind.......although I'll believe it when I see it.
who knows...for VB we have some medium/long period swell coming through this week but from the hurricane tracker page it says it won't reach south carolina until friday...
Most of the tracks now have it curving East too soon which will pretty much provide little to no swell for us...a couple still have it coming closer to the coast and then heading N/NE so hopefully it follows one of those.
Not quite. Local SE wind wave mixed with Ophelia. You don't get 13 sec energy from windwave. And Ophelia may rise from the dead, keep your fingers crossed!
