what are your opinions of a good price for a used shortboard thats in pretty good shape? I want to define a price range and get my moneys worth
that depends, what material, what company, what shape, what size, what accesories come with it (boardbag, fins.)
I havent found it yet but what im looking for is just a standard squash tail 6'2-6'4 (in that range). I am ok with most companies but im not looking for a channel islands or al merrick since im trying to stay low on price. Im sure i wont find exactly what im looking for, but i just want something that will be a lot of fun to ride during the winter. this weekend i will have a lot of time to look around since theres no surf so i wanted to get some other peoples' perspectives on prices so that when im looking i wont waste my time.
Check craigslist. A lot of summer time surfers pick up boards and then unload them when its cold and they need the money. Id say about $200 for a thruster in good shape.
