confused on friscos forcast for saturday. Normally it takes a larger East swell to wrap into Frisco

uhh... yeah... wind is important. look at the difference between swellinfo's wind forecast, and any other strictly weather forecasting site. Not quite and exact science, and variables are constantly changing, so who knows what the wind will be like. N winds? awesome how bout Frisco? probably going to get the most swell down there anyhow. But even if it is exactly as they predict, by the grace of god and mother nature, it doesn't matter where she blows, as long as she keeps it at a reasonable speed.

the tail end of Leslie was so sexy in Frisco last Sunday. NW winds all day.

fickle sir? due to the way the beach faces you could call it fickle since the rest of the obx faces pretty much east. But will i surf it on a NE wind yes i will. Some of the best left barrells I've seen in my life with a big swell that wraps in and yes it can handle that NE wind. Has far a sandbars go in frisco tide is the factor. Back to the original post 4ft east swell at 8 seconds will have trouble wrapping into frisco. Stay in VB brahh thank you

NJ will see decent surf (chest w/ occasional head high) in the PM with incoming tide.
