You got that right, brother. We went in there one night for crab legs as an appetizer, and ended up spending 100 bucks, just on apps! Can't go back, now.

in Rehobeth Beach De...its actually called Henlopen City Oyster House. A bit pricey, but they have a pretty good variety of oysters from everywhere.

Another good one is in Fenwick Island...closer to where I live and visit there frequently...Ropewalk. Ropewalk is also opening another location in OC...82nd street where frescos use to be. Good Prices and great happy hour with a pretty good variety as well...happy hour - a buck an oyster...but on only one variety, its a local oyster...still a very good oyster

Down here they try to pawn off Gulf oysters. Really? PEI, raw, with a sqeeze of lemon, a drop of Tabasco, and a tad of horseradish, chased with a Dos Equis Amber... heaven on a half shell!

That is fairly common all over the place. It is easy to tell Gulf oysters. Large, bland, and less salty than others. PEI are some good ones, for sure. I love the local Caper's blades that are local to our area. They only harvest them in the colder water. Rappahannock oysters from VA are also a nice treat.

Love some Dos Equis! Sis, I have never tried them with the horseradish. Usually, lemon, tabasco, down the hatch

If you have access to a creek put them in the water overnight. It'll salt 'em up some. I can get local oysters by the bushel or a 100 singles for $30.00 here in Chucktown. In a perfect world I'd eat shrimp and oysters every day!
