Hello I'm new to this forum. I was hoping to ask a few questions since I know most of you know So Cal very well. I'm hoping to start a paddle/surfing company in the next 5 yrs, and wanted your input. 1. Do you know of any paddle companies in Orange county/LA county (you don't have to tell me what they are, just Y or N), and if so do you think opening another shop could be a success in So Cal? Based on the increasing interest in paddle board? 2. Do surfers co-exist well with surfers? THANKS GUYS and GALS!!!!
1. several rental places in OC area. keep in mind "socal" is 200+ miles long so i am sure it will vary from place to place. 2. i imagine you may be asking if paddlers get along with surfers....in both cases, down here, yes people seem to get along especially in off season. generally, folks say 'hi' and share the waves (although exceptions occur everywhere). it will not be the same at awesome hi traffic breaks, for obvious reasons. are you manufacture or seller or rental or???? buenas suertas mi amigo
Thanks for the information and your help. I haven't even started a company yet, but I'm hoping to start seriously thinking about opening a paddle board company as I am redirecting my career focus. It's always been a dream to own my own company and I truly love the Ocean, paddle boarding and surfing, so I think this is a good start Thanks again!!! M
