I saw the video and was wondering if Laird was that guy on the SUP (according to an interview, he doesn't paddle regular boards anymore, just SUPs and tow-ins)

Weird to see those big, long guns dropping in at Jaws. I guess you can only do that when it's really glassy like it was in the vid. Even then, you can see how much they bounce around on the face of the wave. Those little tiny, super heavy tow boards look a lot smoother. Either way, paddling in to surf that size is SICK. Thanks Koki.

I especially liked how the sup'er cut that one guy off. Guess it IS the same everywhere with them.

Dorian is a friggen animal. That guy is on another level...I sometimes do wonder if he's a Jose Angel type of guy who will ultimately lose it. I hope not, but he seems awfully reckless the past few years.

I wondered the same thing when I saw it, minus the trucker hat. It wasn't the only drop in i saw though, i saw a couple others drop on the same wave too. What's incredible is how f'ing big those barrels were and how deep some of them got, and to see guys towing this same stuff puts it into perspective what they were able to do without the "help"
