Do paint pens break down the glassing of a board?

Only good pens i know of are sharpies. Are there pens specific for Surfboard art?

they don't break down the glass. UniPosca are good ones too. Make sure you clear coat over your art.

so could you just draw on your surfboard with normal sharpies, or would it eventually come off?

Ive done tons of art on my boards with DecoColor Paint Pens and just clearcoated over them. Be careful how thick you put on the clearcoat because now a lot of my art has a white tint to it from the clearcoat. I was also looking into an airbrush to do some work over the winter on my boards but i have a 6gallon compressor and i cant seem to find any airbrushes that can use a compressor that small let me know what you find out about them
