So stopping people on the streets that don't fit the description of the bombers and asking them for ID and forcing people out of their homes at gun point is your solution?
How often is Martial Law declared when someone escapes police custody or their is a man hunt for a murder suspect?
    NEVER!!!
Swat teaming homes? Give me a fukin break man.

This is the land of the free and home of the brave.
In that vein we should be able to defend ourselves and fight against terrorists if need be here in the homeland.
Not be a slave and ordered to stay in your house only to be forced from it at gunpoint with your hands in the air then searched.
All the Bastan idiots chanting YewEssaY don't have a friggin clue what being an American is.

that being said i, for one, would sure sh1t would prefer to have these ^ buoys on my side, if sh1t happens to hit the fan.

i do agree with the "general helplessness" idea tho. but it's easier to govern an unruly but disarmed populatioin rather an unruly and assault rifle wielding one.

interestingly enough, and think aboot this one - we ALSO, at the same time have had some riots taking place around the same time period (obama's age, lets call it)... now... imagine... those (non-violently) protesting and (non violently) looting in baltimore, but with assault rifles...

Yeah but all that didn't help the people who got their heads blown off in Ft. Lauderdale last week.

Give me a fu*king break man... you act like they randomly went to a town and started dragging people out at gun point... they found the dude in the neighborhood they were searching... again. What's YOUR solution?
a couple of kids with a backpack? Are you fu*king kidding me? That set off bombs in crowds of innocent people. It wasn't a bomb threat.

Yeah and a small army, people made prisoners in their own homes, violations of the Constitution, and it was a 70 year old dude who found the kid in his boat.
Towelle i'm afraid you have been conditioned to love your imprisonment.
I remember goin to Central America for the first time in '91 and seeing cops in the streets with M16s. I thought it was whack and I still feel it's whack. That's why I haven't hit up NYC in a long while.
IUs this a free country or a warzone?

100 but packing in an airport raises a whole nutha issue... are they also, then gonna be packing on the planes?

im a diehard fan... remember the scene when he gets to LA (diehard 1, the nakatomi tower crisis) and about to grab his sh1t from up top and the dude who told him about making fists with his toes gets a glance of his concealed piece, and he goes like "its ok, im a cop"

now thats ONE thing... he is an NYPD detective or somesh1t... now image the dude next to you gets up and you see his beretta or whatever and he notices you noticing and just goes "hey its ok, im bill"
would you kinda be like... muthf*cka i dont give a sh1t! you sat next to me with that sh1t the whole time???
    right?

    would be kinda somthing like:

They were looking in the right area. It doesn't matter who found him. it's not being a prisoner. It's helping find a mass murderer.. and yes I'd be happy to help in that situation

So can you name another instance when a mass murder was wanted and a Martial Law type scenario ensued?

Yeah, but statistically Texas has a low gun murder rate compared to places that have gun control.
How many people died in Chicago already this year from guns?
