anyone have any experience ordering thru these guys , i order a blank on the 15 of dec and i have been charged for it but have not received any additional information i have called a bunch of times left several messages and still no return call, i understand it was the holidays but they could at least call me back. thinking about calling the bank and seeing if the bank can cancel payment or maybe fraud alert idk something to recover my money. the shipping for 20 bucks seems like a great deal at the time
A lot of California companies have trouble grasping the concept of customer service. We deal with a few compnies out there and the communication on their part is terrible for the most part. Very frustrating. I've heard pauhana is a reputable supplier though. Greenlight will be carrying US blanks, both PU and compression molded EPS, starting in February. Stop on over the shop and pick 'em up! ~Brian www.greenlightsurfsupply.com
I've also had problems with Pauhana lately. I think some of the blank manufacturers they distribute slowed or even stopped production. Bennett, Ice Nine, and King Mac to be specific from what i've heard.
aww man i ordered a kingmac fish blank so maybe thats the case , but they could atleast call me back and fill me in
im stoked to hear green light will be carrying pu blanks. I wanna continue shaping come the spring and i hate ordering blanks from the west coast. thanks greenlight
If you could get eskimo foam that would be sooo sweet. I've heard great things about the foam and the catalogue is amazing. US Blanks is great tho...I've got one of their 5'10" Rich Pavel fish blanks sitting in my shed awaiting warmer weather and it looks SO good for making a 5'8" RN Fish. Its not crazy thick like a lot of the other fish blanks.
