Anyone think the north end of Pawleys at the creek is sharky? i've been there three times this summer and seen a 4-6' shark in knee deep water on two occasions. i've surfed Pawleys for years but not the north end, usually at pier, and never heard of shark encounters.
Let's see an intro thread Surfbird, complete with pics of who you're banging these days, your surf boarts, and your surf mobile. Creativity is encouraged. Ready, go!
I stayed in that big mansion on the basin side of the very north end of Pawleys at the inlet. I paddled across the river a few times and was nervous as hell but did not see anything. We were sitting in the water with huge schools of bait fish and whatnots jumping all around in bathwater warm murkyish water. We dont really get that up north in the shire. I was not pumped, and the waves were super small. We met this one smoking hot chick that worked at the surf shop and got her to come chill that night. I got so drunk I snuck off, puked and passed out. My friend did not score with her. But she brought weed of her own which was cool. Thats my story on Pawleys.
There are pretty much always sharks in the water. Statistically speaking 6 out of 3 people surfing are killed by sharks at pawleys. I hope for your sake you're one of them, oralsexbird. But really there are always sharks down in so sc. It's bath wata
If I rub one out to a pic of Jonah Hill can a shark smell it a year later? Answer: kills yourself. Notaseal you cool. I'm just at it this morning!
I mostly just walk down there with the kids but one time I took a kayak out on the North End and saw a good one. Also Mary Ann or some name (the 13 foot great white popped up in the creek). As far as the pier see them all the time.
