think of tourists as cones on a race track. try your best to avoid them, it you hit one... fu*k it, just peace out and act like nothing happened.
just find the closest beach access and try there as there is little difference when the swell is small. early mornings are usually the best as its typically cleaner and nobody out swimming. athough mid day tourist runover sessions has its upside.
