No, I don't really talk like that. Long story short, I was *****ing about the POS board I borrowed about a week ago and a guy that surfs at my favorite spot was like, "hey, I have a 9'0" Perfection I'll sell you for $200" I asked him to let me ride it first and he agreed. Needless to say I loved it, and now its mine. Its obviously used, but its in great shape. Only 1 ding that I noticed but **** happens. I feel like $200 was a steal, and it was just laying around his garage taking up space, so he was happy with the deal as well. On to the pics.
I think 9 foot is the perfect longboard length. Its big enough to be a long board(and float my 220lb fat ass), but not too big to be quick to turn, etc.
Sweet board! I have a question about the fin though. I see that you have a 7" Wingnut cutaway. Do you find that the board slips out a bit on the more aggressive turns? If so, try a larger fin. Maybe something in the 8.5" or 9" range. I rode a friends longboard the other day that had a George Greenough Stage 6 fin. Sweet fin! Check them out at www.trueames.com/surf.html Would recommend it. Did the fin come with the board? You got a killer deal nontheless.
