well boys the trip is officially at a close. surfed some fun waves, drank some ****ty beer, met some awesome people and had an amazing adventure.

just dropped my surf board off at the local orphanage here in huanchaco and im hoppingf on my plane to lima tommorrow. if all works out right i should be back in the states in a few days.

still gotta find a ride from the airport in san francisco eight hours north to my car in crescent city but i think it will work out.

ill make sure to do a proper write up and recap with a photodump once i get to my computer

Yikes! At least the greyhound buses have a lavatory in the bike!

At least you'll have a hell of a few stories for life to tell and remember about this trip! Safe travels to the rest of your destination dude.

the greyhound stranded me lastnight in arcata instead of taking me 2 hours north to the destination i paid for. been having some bad luck with buses i guess but I fortuitously hitched a ride with the methed out uncle of one of the passengers on the bus. Got to my car in the airport at crescent city ( a dirt lot with no security) at four in the morning. I left it there for 6 weeks so I was a little nervous about its existence.

It was still there and after a super jenky start that produced a crazy noise and an even crazier smell I was off northbound to my little spot in oregon. Holy crap it feels strange to be back. Surfed some waist to chest peelers at a protected spot today with my neighbor and felt like the michillin tire man in my 5 mil.
