So happy to hear you are surviving/ thriving!! It has been on national news for a while now showing devastation. Lotsa new notches on your experience belt hopefully you get it all- time, sounds like it's been fun/ rideable every day? Be safe and good luck!!

Wow!! All I can say is that chicama is ALWAYS an experience!!!

Sorry to hear of the craziness... one trip you'll never forget... but happy to hear you scored!

Did you walk up along the coast to the left?? There is a place you can jump in off a big rock cliff (not much of a cliff... it's a big rocky area and you jump like 3 ft into the water- right at the start of a left point) and surf 2 left points - the second one dumps out into the point/peak that you see out front of where your staying.. it's like a skate park... just keeps going!

Bro Trev sounds like you got it good then!!

It's hard to plan out a trip there and score consistent head hi surf!

You'll have to post some pics when you get home

Definitely spare us some pix. I can only imagine how good that looks. Damn near mile long head high lefts. Not fair. Now I'm gonna go and day dream about that.

well homies itts hard but im finally leaving chicama. its been flat on the point for two days now and huanchaco and pacas are probably head high. gonna head down south got eight surf days left and dont want to get trapped in pacas with the chance of more flooding. its been fun up here and i hope to head back up in a few days once the swell rebuilds

well the trip is almost at a close. dorm slumming it at a hostel directly in front of the wave at huanchaco to save cash. flying out in six days, might try to take a weekend trip to pacasmayo if the swell is worth it, but waves have been fun here so pretty content.

still got to figure out a way from san francisco airport a few hundred miles north to my car in crescent city cause plane tickets are like four hundred bucks ( more then my airfair from peru back to the States) and a ten hour bus ride after fourteen hours in the lima airport and four hours in houston sounds miserable.

but waves are fun and it will al work out

    Looks fun dude.

You left at a good time. Looks like you might be coming back at a good time. What day do you arrive at SF?
