Globalism requires this kind neo-slavery/colonialism ...
bc of course Uruguay may some day be a threat (to itself thinks the UN) so some international body should 'look out for" it.
The UN can go f#ck itself

and then I ask myself why should anyone care if a Global nanny-state develops? I don't hear anyone complaining about our own ever growing domestic "nanny-state paternalism" problem ... bc afterall aren't these supposed to be tin-foil hat theories, namely that globalism is just dressed up/gussied up Trotskyism ?
People need to read Trotsky... and realize that "globalism" was the goal all along ... socialism in one country was a last ditch effort to test it out and get something started. Socialism/Statism will not work unless all are brought into line with a international fiat debt currency and international "law". Not even poor lil Uruguay can try their own way forward.

I've been to Montevideo. Cool place. The guy whose apartment I stayed at told me "you are in the free-est place in Uruguay." There was gays, cokeheads; a nice transexual took us on a tour of the street market. They said back then that weed was legal, and that no one would bother you over it. Now the marijuana marketplace is being formalized. Good for them. Too much puritanical BS in our nation for any true free market of ideas.... someone has to experiment.

I recommend a stop in Uruguay for anyone nearby. Punta del Este is supposed to get dece swell... I've got a hookup there now and will probably make it down eventually, but it's hard to organize a surf trip to somewhere that's not much more consistent than our neck o' the lake...
