Has anyone ever hit the jetty out in Long Beach or anywhere else? The other day the tide was dumb low and I got all touchy feely with the jetty and cut myself. It wasen't too bad, but I'm worried about infection. Should I worry about it or will it be ok.

    Thanks

many have hit the jetty. keep it clean, dry, and covered. flush with peroxide. you'll be ok. ;)

just take care of it... put antibiotic cream on the wound.

Anytime, something cuts you in the ocean, such as reef, or a jetty, you should be conscious of possible bacterial infections.

You usually know if it is infected, so if for whatever reason it starts getting gnarly, then go see a doc.
