I leave for college in a week and i have an upgrade for my ****ty Verizon phone. I was thinking either blackberry bold or one of the droids. What are your guys thoughts/opinions/advice? thanks a lot
To me it would be no question... Go with a Droid. My wife has the 1st Motorola Droid. She loves it. Its nice, but a bit heavy to throw in your front pocket... I like the HTC Droid Incredible and have 2 friends that really like it. Its got some upgrades compared to the Droid and smaller/lighter in the pocket. Downside is the battery isn't as good and can drain down if you use it heavily during the day. The DroidX is supposed to be very nice as well with probable the best features., but its even bigger than the Droid. I think it would be ideal for the women as they can just throw it in their purse. I just don't think it works as well for a guy. I will probably get the Droid Incredible at some point soon unless a better version is released before I upgrade. And SwellInfo is building a Droid App that could be ready in the next 1 or 2 months.
thanks for the advice man. ive been leaning towards a droid. droid X seems a little big and bulky for me. but then i start hearing about the rumors about the iphone coming out on verizon this year and im wondering if i should wait
dude get the droid 2. the droids are just as good if not better than the iphone and can do everything that the iphone can do and many more i love my droid.
i have the droid x and although it is pretty big, its totally worth it. as good or better than the iphone. i would highly recommend it to anyone
