haha yeah, he was waiting like 200 feet past all the other paddle boarders just picking off all the biggest set waves. pretty cool to watch, almost ran over a seagull he was moving so fast. and yes that is me surfing but the wife isn't much of a photographer and only using a digital camera so alot of good stuff was missed. she only took pictures of me you know, no empty a-frames or anything.
give your wife some props, she takes better pix than my wife does. I figure a after few more floggings, she might be good enough to go freelance for Surfer Magazine.
I look like an ant in all of the surfing pictures that my wife takes. She doesnt surf so she does not anticipate the set waves and misses the good ones
this day looks at okay that wave to the right is closed out as hell but the one you were riding looks okay. and the only other person that rides 18 foot boards is a kook and named roy, wait the gnome does to. did you wear a helmet at the break to protect your head?

Nice dude! Were these photos from last Sunday 10/5?? I was down in Hatteras and had my camera with me. Check out these photos my friend took of me plus some barrel shots (I took those ones). It was suuuupper clean and fun in the afternoon, some of the best surf I've seen this summer/fall
