All things being equal, what's your favorite side to surf on and why?

Depend on the drift south of avons pier. North of rodanthe pier. North side of VB pier. But yesterday was to crowded at rodanthe pier so went a little more south. The drift was there. Plus it was mostly long rights so did a lot of walking.

Don't surf at piers. They're no good for you

Southside, because generally there are fewer people

No, you don't get it. 100 yard A-frames breaking both ways on either side of pier. Breaking far enough away, so that the wave going towards the pier doesn't hit it. Wind is directly offshore, so that doesn't matter. Which side do you surf?

The side with less guys fishing. OR the side with the most hot chicks fishing.

the less crowded side of course if it is truly breaking the same on both sides but 99.999999% of the time one side has a better sandbar so the question is kind of moot.
