No idea, was in Sept 2000, and I got no clue where it was. I bet if it's still there though and I got close enough it would call to me...we shared a bond that most just can't understand. Poor bastards.

Was waiting for someone to pull that one out. That's pretty much how it went down, only with a lot more fur involved.

Any of y'all ever end up in the Raleighwood area, there's a place on S Miami in Durham called Cheerz Deli. Mom and Pop shop, couple New Yawkers that relocated, and they have by far the most slamming SUBS around. Piled high with meats, all good stuff. And good people.

This is how it all ends. The Second American Civil War (Or The War of Hoagie Aggression). Not defined by N\S, red\blue, geographical lines, or political ideals. It all comes down to the sub vs hoagie vs hero battle. The real war to end all wars. After this country is torn apart the whole world economy will collapse plunging everyone into the second dark ages.

It's worth fighting for. And when it's all done, we'll brew our own beer, make some shine, grow our own "veggies", and go surfing.

Let's do this. Bring it on, b!tches.

We have a weapon of mass destruction in our hoagie arsenal: WAWA
We will creep into the Northeast. Every street corner with a failed business, every wood lot where kids BMX, every truck stop, will be over run by the WAWA corporate logo. Just when you try to resist, they unleash "Hoagie Fest" on an ignorant populace, Game over

What evidence? People who say Sub sound like they wear a pink sweater tied around their neck or a tweed blazer. What's your first name? Buckley? Connor?
Hoagie is a man's man's sammich. It's the sammich for the Philly Mob, Eagles fans, and guys in the Roofers Union. Guys who wear skinny jeans say subs.

Laspada's Original Hoagie Shop - Edgemont Ave, Chester, PA...every Friday night growing up Pop would swing buy and grab a sackful for dinner. Long, long time ago. Whenever I'm in the vicinity - hooking up with the inlander bros for a Flyers or Iggs game - mandatory stop! Just F'n dee-lish-E-oooshis!

I wondered aboot that too now that you mention it. Their souvlakis were supposedly made with baby lamb so perhaps that's what they meant. Man, I loved them souvlakis. Impossible to eat without making a mess but so good.

Ah, Laspada's! We have a half dozen of them down here. Always thought they were a local chain but now realize that they all derive from that original one in Chester. They're also in central Florida I see. Damn good hoagie. I always get the monster.
