Hey Joey, I feel your pain, I'm 5 7 ish as well and at one point I was pushing 230. At 220 I was able to fit into a Hyperflex XLS (the models and weight guides have changed from that year a bit). I am currently 205ish with broad shoulders and a wide frame, right now I wear a hyperflex 4/3 or 5/4 XLS. The hooded 5/4 is difficult to get into because of the hood (horizontal zipper as opposed to angled). The 4/3 is very easy to get into and out of because the neck flap allows for a big top entry opening. The fit on both is pretty good, but there is a small amount of bunching in the legs thats not to bad, but water will collect in legs after a little while so you gotta drain em out. For a 3/2 I wear an O'niell XLS Heat with back zip thats pretty easy to get into and out of. It's probably an inch or so to long, but manageable, and very stretchy. I do find that the upper legs run a bit narrow for me, but my other hobbies result in large quads so what can you do. In either case, your gonna want to drop some cash on the stretchier mid to upper level models of suits. They seem to be a little more forgiving on fit. Good luck, and always try it on before you buy. If it's a bit tight, it will probably stretch out a bit once its wet.
I had a run in with a black bear yearling on Saturday while bass fishing in upstate PA. Luckily momma wasn't around. He just came wandering right over to me. He kept looking at me (creepy) then he would creep a little closer until he was only like 20 feet away from me. It was really cool but also a little unnerving so I un-holstered the 45 and gave out a loud yell. He looked at me like I was nuts (cocked his head) then took off into the brush.
Ordered hardwood about a month ago and it's been sitting in my garage for a couple weeks now. Finally woke up on Saturday and said, fu** it, im doing this. Stripped the moulding, cut out the bottom of the door jams and laid hardwood in the house. Finished painting and detailing our main entry staircase. Redid some moulding and fixed my front yard and garden that go bamboozled by the rain on Friday night. Wife was blown away. She knew something was up when she came back from the store Saturday morning and the saw table was out. and I had my game face on. It was about knee to waist high at high tide, so I was a little bummed I didn't go grovel, but productivity actually stoked me out, so I was a happy camper. Maybe some chore karma will bring us swell.
Nice. I was supposed to make a run with my buddies over to Daufuskie Island yesterday, but things didn't pan out.
Sounds like it's easier to jump over you than go around you., Gordo. You got more chins than a Chinese phone book. when you sit around the house, you sit AROUND the house.
Bet that was intense! Glad he didn't decide to attack / eat you, and glad you didn't have to unload a clip on him either. Both youse are a live to tell the story.
