Fvck the game, the technology is pretty cool. Augmented reality is the future.
When we're all rocking google glasses, it will be amazing.

Right now, it looks idiotic follow your phone screen around. I suspect 8 people die in the next week related to this. Falling off cliffs, into traffic, etc

AR is going to be as huge as TV was when it began after WW2. Pokemon Go is primitive. The technology is there, but the software for games is still evolving. It will be opium for the masses.

On point. You give up all your google info by downloading this app. Passwords, profiles, etc, etc.

I think it's pretty sad honestly. I was in elementary school when pokemon first came out. I played. By the time they started making new pokemon I was over it and had better things to do.

I don't have social media. I'm not up on the new trends. I still don't understand the whole hashtag thing. So I heard about this app on the radio. I laughed. Later that night I went to the park by my place to walk around the lake. It was packed. Usually you have the chick in yoga pants running and the guy walking his dog. But everyone was in there mid to late 20s walking around staring at there phones. I didn't get it. Then it dawned on me, this is what I heard on the radio. I only saw one group of kids that were like 10. Everyone else was way to old for this crap. At first I laughed and made fun of everyone. Then I felt discouraged with society. People really don't have anything better to do? It's pretty sad.

Only positive I'd these fat losers are at least not sitting on there couch getting fatter now.

I've been playing hard for the last few days. I've just been skating around neighborhoods catching em all.

    Ill be 27 on Sunday.

I used an email specifically for pokemon so yeah, have my information. Not too worried about that.

    It really is fun.

I don't know dude... Grown men playing pokemon seems lame. "playing hard" seems like an odd description for a childs game.
Playing on a skateboard doesn't make it rad.

But, what do I know. Millions seem to enjoy it.

I don't play it but I have been around it and can see why it is popular. Most of the "older" crowd you see playing the game are the first generation Pokemon fans from the 90's. When Pokemon came out we were all hooked on the TV show and the trading cards - this app is like a revival of that childhood memory for many of these folks and has re-lit the fire of desire to catch them all.

I think it is cool if you play withing reason. It seems like it is a big race between everyone though. In addition to people being oblivious as it is these days; this is definitely not helping. And whats the point of being outside if your buried in your phone anyway:(

PS I wonder if anyone will spot someone in the lineup playing the game with one of those waterproof cases lmao

Yesterday I saw a woman in her mid 40's almost walk into moving traffic staring at her phone. If it wasn't for someone watching her and yelling "look out", she'd be toast.
I foresee a future where people are gonna welcome brain chips to access virtual reality.

You'll be pretty worried when some uses your passwords to access your private financial information and steals your money. The APP gains access to everything.

The tractor indicated he created an email account specifically to use while playing the game. It's not his primary email address. All is fine, his financial information is fine, his money is fine...

I downloaded the game, have been playing on/off the past few days. The app is pretty ****ty tbh but it's definitely a trip down memory lane which is cool.

Yep, me too. Never cared for video games and I don't get the attraction. Real life is interesting enough on it's own.
