my ride 01' chevy suburban, its got 4WD, i can fit 3 longboards inside and then some, roof racks, and rod racks. its the hattymobile
my main ride is my razor scooter with sweet orange wheels and grips, it also has a wheelie bar. but my back up ride when thats in the shop getting a tune up is a 99 nissan altima
2001 Jeep Cherokee, 4wd, roof rack...black exterior, only 44k on it. it's pretty sweet. I can carry my boards on the top and fold the seats down inside so I can sleep at night haha.
2007 Hyundai Tucson - 21 mpg city - 25 mpg hwy - I can fit up to a 9'6" LB on the pass side with the seats folded down or put em on the roof rack. I had a 88 Suburban but the gas was killing me. I got nothing for it because I sold it when gas was close to 4$ gal. I want to get a diesel powered conversion van. A neighbor has one he says gets 20 mpg on the hwy if you stay under 65 mph. Its also loaded with handicap stuff for his son.
Yeah hyundai's are really good on gas and dependable as well, My wife has a 04 Santa Fe and it has been troulbe free since we has it

1 Jeep Wrangler Tj with an 07 I6 motor. 3.5 inch rough country suspension lift with 33x12.50 BFG AT tires mounted on Mickey Thompson Sidebiter rims.
i will be in need of a new car soon...preferbly under $10,000. And sugestions? I want an SUV and 4*4. THinking bout an escalade anyone know how those hold up?
dunno how they hold up, but i know how horrible they are on gas...never mind the fact that only posers think that escalades make good surf-mobiles. not that i have any room to talk. i drive a 2002 nissan altima w/ yakima racks. the back seats are split 60/40, so i can put a shortboard inside & still be able to put someone back there if need be. the log (obviously) goes on the racks. i don't generally go surfing w/ a whole crew in tow, so it suffices. my ideal surf vehicle would be a jeep cherokee 4x4. those things are bomb proof!
hahahaha i'm not a poser as far as i know. ive always liked the escalade before i even started surfing ever since prolly kindergarden. i can get an old one cheap with about 150k on it i dunno how that would hold up.
I wouldnt get it . Its expensive to fix and maintain. I would get a Subaru Outback or something like that with AWD. They are easy and cheap to fix and maintain and will last forever if you take care of it
between two of the fords in the drive way (both on original motor/trans we have 420,xxx miles) 1995 ford f250 with a 351w and a 95 ford ranger with a dual spark 2.3 one is an auto, the other a stick.
just got my license like 3 weeks ago...drivin a 2001 honda civic lx. i really want a jeep wrangler tho
