looking at taking a trip in late January with the wife. Obliviously im stoked to get to surf but anyone have any info places to stay around Rincon area. Would prefer somewhere nice and romantic but close to the surf. Thanks for any input

I'd look into the places down on the road near Tamboo. Casa Islena or Pelican point. I think PP is right next to Tamboo and right on Sandys Beach so you wouldn't have to drive anywhere to get waves and leave the wife at the room. You could get it early or late for a sesh and she could chill on the beach or go back to the room.
A few years back I stayed at the Rincon Inn. It's down the road a bit south of the town center, across from the Supermarket. It was cheap, clean, and came equipped with Directtv and a minifridge. It's like a 5 minute drive to Maria's. Pretty baller, PR rocks. Get some and Stay Above the Weather! Also stayed here back in 2007? http://www.poolsbeach.com/PBC/YOU_HAVE_SCORED.html down the road from Sandy Beach and we could walk to Domes! may have built the fence up more so that might not be walkable now.
