These girls can surf better than me. Women could and should compete against men in amateur competitions. Not professional comps because it's not fair, men out perform women 3 fold. Now on an amateur level it would be great, except 1 thing, a womens hips are different than mens. So all snaps, pumps, cutbacks, and all style judging would be un-judgeable. Women have a whole different style than men simply because the way human hips work. Now that surfing is an Olympic sport I'm sure there will be a men's and a womens division. Which is great because I watch womens competitive surfing. It's great to see a different style. Laird Hamilton is practically a female and look all that he has done for the sport
