Proper Surf Boarde Handling

If you are walking up da beach into the wind I use technique #1 for more control. Otherwise I have found that carrying it level/in the middle looks way cooler. Also dude in #1 did not coil his leash proper!

 

The guy in the bottom is trying to carry it like the guy on top but all of his sponsor stickers are making the board front-end-heavy

 

I usually carry mine with the tail / fins forward and pointed away from my body.

If my lady comes to the beach or if I'm packing multiple boards into the truck the night before I'll make her carry boards..... and she'll do it. But it's funny because she still carry it so delicately and with a "oh shit oh shit" face the entire time. You know. Because she knows if that thing gets the smallest of taps she's getting a backhand.

 

You guys don't have a team of sherpas to carry your boards, caviar, champagne, dining set, easy chairs and tents to the beach?

 

I have all that plus I hired Frost to do proper sand reconnoitering prior to my entry into the surf.

I point the fins toward the wind. Seems like they break the wind a little and keep the board more stable under my arm.
