I built a longboard with a wider tail so i put the quad set of fins on it and it really is a different ride than typical noserider i think with the fins outboard on rail edges it allows yu to stay higher on wave face and the control surfaces are spread more evenly through the tail area. But i did feel the tail slide some so i added a fifth and now it really feels like i have more positive control during crosstepping and noseriding and overall it looks good too
I have some thrusters that i love too but i just get fixed on a board for a while and right now its my quad longboard, it was an experiment anyway
