Just wondering if anyone had any knowledge or suggestions on Waterproof Camcorders or cases. I am hoping to buy one and get some good close up footage. So any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Don't go cheap. You can get a relatively cheap camcorder, but the quality won't be as good as an expensive one. As for the housing. Do NOT go cheap. Cheaper it is, the less the quality will be. The waterproof "bags" suck. Camera/camcorder moves around in them, reduces quality from the lens element in it. Expect to spend around $500+ for the housing, and $250-500 for the camcorder.

Technology is changing really fast. If you wait a bit, you can prolly pick up the same camcorder $100 cheaper within a year. A lot of cheap camcorders are coming out with HD video. Granted its no the same quality as a prosumer HD camcorder, but its better than 640x480vga.

Whatever you do, don't buy anything from GoPro. Poor quality product.

I watched your surf videos and was wondering what type of camcorder do you have?
